Thoughts were running wild through Jason's mind, a mix between how he regretted getting angry and talking back to Gyda, and how hurt he felt that she actually thought he would just leave her like that on purpose.
Though when she snapped back he once again took a single step back, mostly because he instinctively
wanted to keep a certain distance from someone who was so volatile, but he himself wasn't much
better as his anger rose with each word she said. A low growl came from him as she mentioned
following their scent, offended that she actually thought he didn't try that.
Then she called him a liar.
He went silent, the anger evaporated from him, and it was instead replaced with a look similar both to astonishment and disgust, his head tilted to the side and his eyes narrowed. "Stupid, outrageous lies
huh?" His voice was eerily devoid of emotion, and he then proceeded to stare down Gyda with that
same expression for a few moments, and suddenly the air around him changed and it immediately
caused the sort of sensation that said it might not have been the wisest choice of words.
Suddenly his anger exploded, a vicious growl ripped from his throat as he closed the distance between them
quickly and roughly butted heads with Gyda, his burning emerald eyes were inches away from hers, a look
of such anger it didn't quite seem right on someone who was usually so calm and collected.
"Is that what you really think?! I just lured you into some false sense of companionship?! It was all some
sort of game to me?!?! How dare you!!! Why the hell would I look for you in the first place if you were
just some sort of plaything to me?! And you really think I didn't try following your scent?! I spent
Well over three hours limping on a leg you injured, almost getting trampled by a full grown buck
in the process that I barely managed to escape due to a lame leg, then spent even longer trying
to find your scent after I lost it!! By the time I stopped looking it was dark, and I had to
go back to camp to get patched up!"
He removed his head from Gyda's instead angling toward her right ear and speaking in a more enraged tone, his hot breath dancing along her fur "And what's this crap about making me proud?! I already was proud of
you! Proud you simply went into the camp with me! You had nothing to prove to me!! I simply thought you
would like more wolves to talk too! I never said to replace me with another male! Do you understand
how infuriating it is to learn the one you care about went off with another male somewhere, not a
single wolf knowing where?!"
He now slipped his body along hers, pressing against her heavily, intentionally smacking her in the snout with his tail as he did. "You feel that?! My weight against yours, that's all I've been thinking about
for the past two weeks! Your scent, stuck in my head no matter how hard I try and suppress it! The
time away from you had been anything but dandy!" Jasin then backed up, once more staring into
Gyda's eyes, his rage brimming around him. " I have never once treated you like a child,
neither have I ever made a fool out of you, but you sure as hell made a fool out of me!"
Jasin has never before been so enraged, and it was obvious Gyda had pushed Jasin to a new level of emotion
that anyone has ever seen from him. "Don't you ever call me a liar again, I never have lied to you and I
never will, you got that?!"
